Let's compare individual property websites with a real estate portal services (SeLoger, Leboncoin etc.), also called MLS (Multiple Listing Service).

The MLS is where the real estate agent pays a monthly or one time fee to list their property alongside all the other properties in a certain area.

While it's true that you get consistent and easy traffic by adding real estate to MLS sites, most MLSs use software that is old and sometimes not responsive to mobile devices.

You are in constant competition with the rest of the market, making it easier for buyers to view other ads in seconds.
It is therefore more difficult to capture the attention of the potential buyer and take the time to really understand the detailed characteristics of the property.

There is also usually a restriction on the number of photos you can include on an MLS site, which limits what you are allowed to feature, especially when it comes to larger, more luxurious properties for example.
 

That said, the MLS is still a great resource to use, and you should definitely take advantage of it. But if you really want to highlight your online listing to attract more leads and visitors, creating a website dedicated to a single property is a great way to do so.
